1. Overview of international partners

Binghamton University,State University of New York was established in 1946, its predecessor is Triple Cities College, which is in order to provide the skill training for local veterans after the Second World War. Binghamton University SUNY into State University of New York (SUNY) in 1950,it named Harpur College at that time, officially changed its name to Binghamton University SUNY until 1992.

2. Both sides in the cooperation of the teachers

At present, in the cooperative teacher is Professor Meng Weiyi(Binghamton University) and Professor Zhou Chunlai(Renmin University of China). Professor Meng Weiyi is also visiting professor of Renmin University of China.

3. The ways of cooperation

Four basic types of cooperation:

a. BS+BS project: students who completed three years of undergraduate in the school of information, study to the State University of New York for two years, if students meet the requirements of corresponding courses and graduate design can obtain a bachelor's degree from the Renmin University of China and the State University of New York;

b. BS+MS project: students who completed three years of undergraduate in the school of information, study to the State University of New York for two years, if students meet the requirements of corresponding courses and graduate design can obtain a bachelor's degree from the Renmin University of China and the State University of New York;

c. Professor Meng Weiyi invites teachers and doctoral students to New York State University for a visit or cooperative research;

d. Every holiday, Professor Meng Weiyi lectures to Renmin University of China.

4. The main activity in the past three years

a. Every summer, Professor Meng Weiyi's lectures to Renmin University of China. He is also one of the international experts in the first big data management center, and actively supports the school of information summer camp in Renmin University of China.

b. There are about 3 undergraduate students of School of information to the SUNY at 3+2 per year, a total of 18 people.The graduates of this program all have applied to the study of America top university graduate school or American top corporate jobs.
