Multimedia Computing Lab

Multimedia Computing Laboratory (Multimedia Computing Lab- MMCL) is a young, energetic team. Laboratory currently has four teachers (two associate professor, lecturer 2), they were at the CAS Institute of Acoustics, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Toyama and Amsterdam received their Ph.D.

Laboratory dedicated to research and analysis of digital video, digital images, digital audio and other multimedia data, understand, manage and query; research priorities include: understanding and audio content search, semantic information processing and computer music music information mining, voiceprint recognition , speech recognition and understanding, image content analysis, understanding and searching, statistical machine learning, neural network algorithm optimization and combinatorial optimization problem solving and so on. Have published influential papers in the multimedia functions as an important international meeting on ACMMM, ICMR, ICASSP INTERSPEECH and IJCNN.

Currently, the laboratory undertook the Renmin University of China Research Fund pre-research projects commissioned (Team Foundation) "Mass Media Research data analysis and structured semantic concepts described in the" National Natural Science Foundation project "weakly labeled data online image based on personalized labels details about the audio data, emotional semantic analysis of research "research", Beijing Natural Science Fund Project "and with audio, image, video-related enterprises commissioned lateral projects.
